Universiti Malaysia Sarawak was incorporated in October 1992. The 8th university in Malaysia and hereby we have 8 faculties in comprises of Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Resource Sciences and Technology, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Faculty of Computer Sciences and Information Technology, Faculty of Applied and Creative Arts, Faculty of Cognitive Science and Human Development, Faculty of Economic and Business and Faculty of Engineering. Our Campus is located in Kota Samarahan about 20 to 30 minutes drive from Kuching City. At UNIMAS, we seek to provide our students with the experience they need to balance growth. While we emphasise on vocational instruction and training required by the industry, we will not obscure some of the fundamental mission of a university education: to prepare our youth for citizenship and for participating in a responsible society.
