We are the innovators who created  Chicago Style Soda Bread - and we love bread! 

At Uptown Soda Bread Co., we are proud wholesale and retail bakers sharing our family recipe of natural, handmade soda bread to the Chicago market.  We took the company's name from the Uptown neighborhood, our stomping grounds on Chicago's north side.

We based this business around a single soda bread recipe that our grandmother, Mary Slack Collins, took with her from County Mayo, Ireland when she came to the United States in the 1920's. Our family's been enjoying it ever since.  

And with the addition of other sweet and savory flavors we hope you enjoy eating these breads as much as we love making them!
