Urban | DCCM is a Corpus Christi civil engineering firm founded on April 1, 1965, by Eugene and Larry Urban. Through the years, we’ve grown to become an industry leader in surveying and site development work for both domestic and commercial land developers. Our expertise also extends to master plans, site development work, and construction supervision on water, wastewater, and drainage projects for several South Texas municipalities and other governmental entities.

Our history of service, reliability, thoroughness, and accuracy has made us the number one choice among large and small clients who need civil engineering services in our many areas of expertise. Developers and contractors turn to us for advice on the feasibility of projects, preparing and developing land, and maneuvering through the complex construction and permitting process.

Through the years, the company has grown from two to more than 50 people, yet it remains family owned and operated. Larry, Chuck, Jim, Dan, and Chip Urban are the company’s principal owners. The fact that we’re family-owned means Urban Engineering | DCCM will continue to be invested in the South Texas community and that client satisfaction and respect for the environment will remain company hallmarks.
