Victor Valley College is the largest publicly funded institution in the Victor Valley which is located 90 miles Northeast of Los Angeles. Opened in 1961 and set in the foothills of the San Gabriel and San Bernardino Mountains, VVC serves more than 15,000 students each semester and graduates approximately 3,000 students annually. VVC offers years of accumulated experience and a wide-ranging selection of outstanding academic and career training programs to help you explore and define your future. We offer 25 degrees and more than 125 certificated programs to lead you on your path to success. Since 2008, students in the nursing program have passed the NCLEX Licensing Exam with an 88% rate or higher and more than 75 percent are employed at local area hospitals. Our FAA approved Aviation School is also placing 90 percent of its employees into full-time positions with average starting salaries commensurate with industry standards at local aviation companies. In the Spring of 2012, the doors to the newest training complex, the Victor Valley College Regional Public Safety Training Center opened in Apple Valley, CA and is now the home to the Administration of Justice, Fire Technology, Emergency Medical Services and Corrections Programs. The $31.5 million dollar state-of-the-art facility is uniquely designed to provide students with cooperative/cross-training exercises experienced by first responders while on the job. Victor Valley College has a proud tradition of being the launch pad for careers of thousands of people.
