Virginia Poultry Growers Cooperative, Inc. (VPGC), headquartered in Hinton, Virginia, is a vertically integrated turkey company including everything from growing, feeding, and processing turkeys, to delivering products to the customer.  In addition to its processing plant in Hinton, Virginia, VPGC operates a feed mill in Broadway, Virginia, and grain storage and distribution facilities in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Currently VPGC consists of 165 member-growers and employs 565 people.  The 230,000 square foot plant specializes in boneless turkey meats and bone-in turkey parts and processes about 7 million turkeys per year.  Our diverse customers include processors and distributors of turkey products, most of them representing major consumer brands as well as smaller niche food providers.

 VPGC is committed to quality at every level, from producing the feed for its birds, to delivering the highest quality turkey meat to more than 400 customers around the world, while bringing value to our owners, customers, and community.

Building on its strong community and family roots, VPGC and its employees have donated thousands of dollars and hours to various organizations throughout the community, including the United Way, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and the American Cancer Society.  VPGC has also demonstrated a strong commitment to further enhancing the future of agriculture by supporting organizations such as the Rockingham County Fair and Future Farmers of America.
