VMT GmbH is a Bruchsal, Baden-Württemberg-based provider of surveying systems and services for tunnel construction and industrial measurement. Its offerings cover navigation for tunnel boring machines, production and logistics management for segment manufacture, process monitoring, and data management—together supporting the execution of complex infrastructure projects such as tunnels and shafts. With around three decades of experience and a global footprint, VMT operates subsidiaries in Shanghai, Seattle, and Melbourne and maintains representations in several markets, aligning with its parent group, the Herrenknecht Group.

Customers include construction companies and infrastructure developers seeking reliable, data-driven workflows for tunnelling and related processes, along with industrial manufacturers requiring high-precision measurement concepts. The company positions itself in the construction technology segment as a provider of integrated systems that enable safe, efficient project delivery and quality assurance through modular, networked solutions. In April 2026, VMT announced a new software module designed for conventional tunnelling workflows, reflecting ongoing product development.
