Since entering the construction market in 1935, VolkerRail has become one of the UK’s leading multidisciplinary railway infrastructure contractors.

Whether working as a Tier one contractor for larger multidiscipline frameworks, as a partner in a joint venture or Alliance, or as a subcontractor to the wider rail sector, our teams of experts are specialists in:

These specialisms cover the full project lifecycle, with in-house design teams to undertake detailed design work for signalling and power related railway projects.

We also have a plant division which owns and maintains a fleet of rail construction plant.
