Volvo Trucks North America represents the United States, Canada, and Mexico operation of Volvo Trucks, the second-largest heavy-duty truck and engine manufacturers in the world.
 
Headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina, Volvo Trucks first entered the North American market in 1959 and established itself as an integral part of the United States truck market in the mid-1970s through Volvo of America Corp. Since that time, Volvo Trucks North America (VTNA) has brought innovations to the trucking industry guided by the company’s three core values: Quality, Safety, and Environmental Care. Today, we are a market leader on the forefront of electromobility, automation, and connectivity.
 
Volvo Trucks takes great pride in what we have built in North America and value the role our customers play in moving our economy forward. The Volvo VNR, VNL, VNX, VHD, and VAH trucks are all assembled in the U.S. at our New River Valley Plant in Dublin, Virginia, while our engines are assembled in Hagerstown, Maryland.
