VPI, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Appleton, Wisconsin, that provides contract packaging and production services to private industry through an integrated workforce. Founded in 1956, it originated to address the readiness of individuals with disabilities to enter the workforce and a local need for contract packaging in the Fox Cities area, guiding its development as a community-focused service provider. Valley Packaging, created through a partnership among parents of people with disabilities, local manufacturers, and human service providers, now operates with more than 800,000 square feet of customizable production and employment skills training space and high-speed equipment. The organization employs between 51 and 200 people and maintains a workforce that blends individuals with disabilities with technically trained production workers. On August 14, 2025, VARC, Inc. merged with VPI, expanding its disability and employment services footprint in Wisconsin.
