wakaNINE is a North American distributor for international product designers whose aesthetics blend nature and technology in modern forms. wakaNINE currently represents David Trubridge Design (New Zealand), Pollen Group (New Zealand), Ango (Thailand) and Stephen Pikus (South Africa), design companies with a similar focus on eco-friendly materials, originality, ethical manufacturing and sustainable production techniques. wakaNINE embraces and supports these principles as fundamental to business and humanity; not as trendy marketing spin.

wakaNINE works directly with our design partners as the exclusive North American master representative providing sales, marketing, customer service and distribution to all channels. We stock and ship product from our Austin warehouse as well as have direct access to inventory in the manufacturers’ warehouses. We have supplied lighting designs to many commercial and residential projects across North America. Some of our more visible clients include Barre 3, Lululemon, Macys, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Pinkberry, Starwood Hotels, Starbucks, Westfield, Whole Foods Market and Veggie Grill.  Our fixtures can be found in the offices of Amazon, Google, PayPal, and Microsoft as well as in many homes throughout North America.  We are insanely proud of our partnerships with, arguably, some of the world’s leading lights (please excuse the pun) in the design world to bring high quality products to the North American market.
