Welcome Baby Care focuses on a period of time often overlooked in our modern Western culture: the period after birth or adoption, when the new parents are adjusting to new roles as well as a several other changes -- exhaustion, hormonal fluctuations, financial burdens and shifts in the romantic partnership, to name a few. WBC's goal is to help a family fully recover from pregnancy and childbirth, learn how to trust parental instincts and move forward with confidence and joy. This, we feel, provides the strong foundation on which the growing family will build many happy memories! -WBC mainly serves the family in their own home with the expert care of Minnesota's premier postpartum doulas, extensively trained and passionate about this work. -We also help breastfeeding parents with in-home or phone lactation consultation, provided by our several Certified Lactation Counselors. -Additionally, we have a wonderful education department, which provides learning opportunities for new parents as well as a competitive Postpartum Doula Certification Program. We screen our caregivers and hold them to extremely high standards in terms of experience, skills and character. Welcome Baby Care SHINES in our determination to carefully match caregivers and doulas with clients -- aiming to not only meet a family's care needs, but to suit their style as well!
