The resultant product is a dense, physically and chemically stable briquette with higher energy content and value which can be handled like normal coal. Our patented BCB technology enables the more efficient utilization of the 465 billion tonnes of proven lignite and sub-bituminous coal reserves that are located throughout the world. This provides White Energy with a compelling economic and environmental model which appeals to our shareholders, joint venture partners, customers and other interested stakeholders. The BCB process was developed by a consortia lead by the Commonwealth Scientific Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) and other leading coal industry players. White Energy was integral in developing this technology and ensuring that the coal briquetting opportunity has evolved from concept to a commercial reality. Our transformational upgrading and briquetting process is cost and operationally superior to other competing technologies.
