With an insurance background and knowledge dating back to 1983, our founder, Jeff Farmer, established W.J. Farmer Insurance in 1997.  In 2015 he merged with his daughter Amy’s five year old agency and together formed W.J. Farmer Insurance Agency, LLC.  Servicing the needs of the entire states of New York and Pennsylvania, we work with the Erie Insurance Company and other major and regional insurance carriers to provide a full range of personal, business and life insurance products. With employees in both upstate and downstate New York, we are uniquely situated to meet the needs of all of our clients throughout New York and Pennsylvania.  Specialties include auto and home insurance as well as package insurance for a wide range of small and medium sized businesses. With over 100 years of combined experience and over 10 years of average experience per employee, we are well suited to meet the insurance needs of our personal and business customers alike.
