WRVO Public Media is a nonprofit, non-commercial broadcast service delivering news and information to residents of central and northern New York as a member station of NPR. Its studios and administrative offices are located on the SUNY Oswego campus in Oswego, New York, with a satellite studio in downtown Syracuse, supporting a multi-platform approach that combines local reporting with programming from NPR and other networks.

Through a network of transmitters and affiliates, WRVO serves audiences across more than 20 counties, including communities such as Ithaca, Cortland, Geneva, Rome, Hamilton, and Norwich. The service targets residents in central and northern New York with a mix of local programming and national and international news, analysis, and entertainment. As a regional public radio network, WRVO draws on content from NPR, APM, PRI, BBC and other networks, supported by a small nonprofit staff across management, news, underwriting, operations, and engineering.
