New York State MLS, NY State MLS is a private real estate multiple listing service that allows real estate agents and brokers list properties for sale to other licensed real estate agents and brokers.  The public can search for homes for sale, land for sale, businesses for sale, commercial buildings for sale, commercial leases available in any county in New York State.  There is even a search for residential rentals, mobile or manufactured homes for sale.  

Listing agents and brokers can enter their listings in any county in New York State and search for listings in any county in New York, since NY State MLS allows for agents to list across county lines.  

The public can search for New York State Real Estate for sale in any category, county, school district anywhere in New York State. 

There are several counties in New York State that until NY State MLS, did not have a multiple listing service to post their properties. Now the entire state of New York is provided with a multiple listing service, where the public and New York real estate agents and brokers can post their listings.

Since NY State MLS is the first New York Statewide MLS it has many different search features that real estate agents and brokers have been asking for, but until they could not get. There is a check box to search for foreclosure listings, foreclosure sales, bank owned properties, bank owned properties, handy-man properties, estate sales, new construction and many other check box features that are desired by home buyers and home sellers.
