We backup your customer's data and programs across the Internet. In the event of a disaster we quickly restore critical programs and data to our servers. The customer just logs in and runs their programs remotely and securely from any location, through any Internet connection. We have their critical programs up and running in a fraction of the time of conventional tape or remote data backup services. Because we know that we could also be affected by a disaster, our backup servers are replicated in California and Las Vegas, so either location will be able to restore critical business systems if the other cannot. How will your customer get replacement programs, particularly if they use a specialized application unique to their industry? Finally, if it takes 8 hours to back up the customer's data onto tape, after their server is configured, it will take the same amount of time to reload it from the tape. And we all know that tapes can be unreliable! Using an online backup service's own marketing information, we easily calculated that it can take 4 - 21 days to recover the amount of data most business clients want to protect, and they still need more than data to recover.
