Yaddo is a nonprofit retreat for artists and writers based in Saratoga Springs, New York. It supports the creative process by providing artists with an opportunity to work uninterrupted in a supportive environment. The residency program welcomes professional creators across disciplines such as choreography, film, literature, musical composition, painting, performance art, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and video, with applicants applying individually and selections made by panels of peers without regard to financial means.

In 2026, President Elaina Richardson announced she will step down on December 1 after 25 years of leadership, and a nationwide search for a successor is underway.
