Providing non-profit risk management, insurance, and safety services to its member agencies, Yolo County Public Agency Risk Management Insurance Authority, YCPARMIA, is a member-directed risk management special district agency formed through an exercise of joint powers by 32 participating government agencies within Yolo County.  
YCPARMIA’s professional expertise, technical knowledge and understanding of public agency operations, coupled with our commitment to responsive, in-house claims management, pro-active loss prevention and cost containment enables our members to allocate more of their vital resources to providing essential community programs and services to their constituents.
Our mission is to protect the members' resources from the impact of loss through a program of insurance coverage, prevention, education, training, and service.
Our Objectives include the following: 
Assess and address the needs of the members;
Provide the most cost effective insurance coverage available
Provide the most relevant training & education;
Maintain the organizational strength of YCPARMIA, and
Provide responsive and comprehensive risk management services.
