Youth Development, Inc. (YDI) is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization serving children, youth, and families across central and northern New Mexico since 1971. Our mission is simple but powerful: To help children, youth, and families achieve their full potential. As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, YDI provides a comprehensive range of services that support educational success, personal growth, and community empowerment. Our programs address the needs of individuals at every stage of life, from early childhood to young adulthood and beyond. Key initiatives include Head Start & Early Head Start, YouthBuild, High School Equivalency (HSE) education, after-school enrichment, emergency youth shelter, workforce training, reentry support, and behavioral health counseling. We also offer family-focused services such as parenting classes, housing support, gang intervention, and case management.
