Lori Burton-Cluxton is CEO of Advantage Point Coaching, LLC, a present-future focused, strengths and faith-based organization. She is a CDC® Certified Divorce Coach and Certified Trauma Recovery Coach, a M.S.W., with all other degrees, licensures and certifications in her extensive experience in Sociology, Psychology, Teaching and Coaching. Lori’s diverse background dealing with divorce, child welfare, counseling, domestic violence, sexual assault, substance abuse, teaching, and investigations has exposed her to many challenges that women and their family’s face. She believes that women are the experts in their own lives, and co-partners with them to accomplish what they want to achieve; encouraging self-discovery and client-generated solutions and strategies. With the use of listening and skillfulness, Lori is a master at connecting with others to make those she works with feel confident and secure that they will be heard and understood in working through their concern with clarity and resolve. As a child of divorce, a parent of divorce, a parent of a blended family and a co-parent...her passion is assisting couples back on the path to reconciliation when that is their choice; supporting the blended family; and assisting those going through divorce avoid the 6 biggest mistakes so they can co-parent effectively and create a healthy future for their children.
