Purpose Statement: We believe in creating with an international vision, having passion for the community, placing family first, and developing our craft while educating and inspiring others.

Anderson Studios is located at 22 N Mulberry Street Suite 312 Hagerstown, MD 21740. The studio is placed right near the heart of Hagerstown's Downtown Arts & Entertainment District. The company embodies four different entities under the Anderson Inc. umbrella, including: Melanie Anderson Worldwide, Anderson Photographs, Anderson Education, and Anderson Inspired. Being in a downtown urban environment allows the team to branch out of in-studio restrictions and manipulate all the 'nooks and crannies' of alleyways, brick walls, vines, and stairwells into chic/grungy/one-of-a-kind backgrounds for any session type and creativity inspiration. It's the best of both worlds! 

Owner Melanie is a multiple award-winning photographer, Maryland Photographer of the Year, President of Maryland Professional Photographer’s Association, Certified Professional Photographer, and holds her Photographic Craftsman.

Melanie is a wife to her husband of 23 years, Bill, and a mother of their 4 children, Sarah, Emily, Kayla and Billy –Not only does she travel the country educating others, judging print competitions, and filming for commercial clients, she has nurtured the Anderson brand from a home studio into the beautiful space in Mulberry Lofts it is today, specializing in Seniors, Children, Newborns, Families, Volume Sports, Boudoir, and Commercial Photography. Located in the Arts & Entertainment District in downtown Hagerstown, MD. 

As co-founder and educator of “The Focus Tour” and current Speaker for Shutterfest and monthly contributor to Shutter Magazine, mentor for After Dark Education, SYNC, Sandy Puc tours as well as an appearance on SPTV, teaching at SEPPA and numerous State PPA Chapters, Melanie filmed and was correspondent for several segments for Photovision.
