APR is an Italian aviation and aerospace component manufacturer based in Pinerolo, Piemonte, at 10 Viaduct Roberto Incerti, 10064. The company employs about 501-1000 people and operates with a vertically integrated structure to design, industrialize and manufacture components in series. Since 1998, APR has specialized in manufacturing fluid-dynamics critical parts (such as inducers, impellers and BLISKs/IBRs), engine components (hinges, casings, airfoils) and various complex accessories (filler caps, engine turning systems, helicopter gearbox cooling fans). It maintains prototyping capabilities for programs including instrumented airfoils, full turbine demonstrators and additive-parts machining or reworking, and an internal RD&E team comprising more than 30% of staff that provides end-to-end design-to-production solutions for valves and pumps across harsh environments. APR’s experience spans space applications, with ECLSS valves used on the Cygnus spacecraft (ISS) and readiness for HALO module integration on the Lunar Gateway, as well as the development of Active Thermal Control Systems for ESA programs and the supply of propulsion valves and centrifugal pumps for VEGA-E and EL3 studies, with a broader expansion toward aero-engine accessories.
