Ashton Distributors designs and markets premium cigars. Cigars are handmade in the Dominican Republic at the Tabacalera A. Fuente facility, crafted from aged tobaccos through a careful aging and blending process. Founded in 1985 by Robert Levin, the firm is family-owned and headquartered in Philadelphia, with additional businesses such as Savoy Humidors & Accessories and the U.S. distribution of Peterson Pipes & Pipe Tobacco.

In the early 2000s, Ashton expanded its portfolio through a partnership with Jose 'Pepin' Garcia to develop two Nicaragua-based brands, La Aroma de Cuba and San Cristobal. The company's cigars are distributed in more than 60 countries and have received industry recognition, including a 94-point rating for the Ashton VSG and a mention among the top 25 cigars of 2023. These activities position Ashton in the premium segment of tobacco manufacturing, highlighting craftsmanship and collaborations with leading cigar makers.
