Established in 1978, Avon has become one of the largest privately owned independently operated car, truck and van rental company in Southern California. Professional and courteous, with one of the newest fleets in town, Avon can still offer the old fashioned hands on customer service that no longer exists at the large multi-corporation owned rental companies. We did it first! Customers used to have to bounce between “Rent a Car” companies and “Rent a Truck” companies depending upon their needs. Back in the 70’s Avon envisioned a one stop shop for car, truck and van rentals similar to an automotive rental Supermarket. Although our trucks are built for commercial use with specialty equipped automatic lift gates, jockey boxes, diamond plated thresholds and rain doors, but more importantly, they are easily operated by an average renter. All vehicles come with extras such as stereos with CD players, air conditioning, lights in the boxes of the trucks along with spot lights on the outside rear to afford safe late night loads while operating the lift gates.
