In 2005, the company acquired the tooling and abrasive line of products from Micromatic, adding to the Bates legacy nearly 80 years of honing and bore finishing innovation. Bates Technologies was acquired by Lapmaster in 2009, adding to it's large product group and capabilities.Our core product line of honing stones, honing machine tools, mandrel tools, CMC honing equipment and commercial honing products. We also provide Superabrasive honing products and mandrel tools for air-gage-monitored honing systems and honing machines for almost all renowned Honing brands. Our honing stones, honing tools and honing machine products are engineered and manufactured to optimize the performance of a variety of finishing processes.
