Bayport Flower Houses, located at 940 Montauk Highway in Bayport, is a long-standing tradition on the South Shore - serving these communities since 1932. Bayport Flower Houses began as a wholesale carnation grower, selling to the New York City market, under the management of Maria & Paul Auwaerter. 
Today, over 90 years later - Bayport Flower Houses is still under the management of the Auwaerter family. Gisbert Auwaerter, his son Karl and his daughter, Christine, head up a dedicated team of horticulturists and floral designers providing the local communities with the beauty of flowers & plants. While the business focus has changed from wholesale carnations to a renowned Retail Flower Shop, Garden Center and Landscape - the focus on customer service has never wavered. 
Bayport Flower Houses has been named one of the Top Revolutionary 100 Garden Centers in the U.S. by “Today’s Garden Center” magazine for the past three years. We are also members of a selective cooperative of garden centers called the Home & Garden Showplace. This affiliation recognizes us as one of the premier gardens centers and allows us to access valuable information needed to offer outstanding service and quality plants and products. This is much the way FTD has helped in our renowned Flower Shop.
