Bellwether Housing is a real estate organization focused on building and managing affordable housing in the Puget Sound region. It operates a portfolio of 32 buildings that provide homes to more than 3,000 people. Its residents include families exiting homelessness, independent seniors, immigrants seeking opportunity, preschool teachers, social workers, artists, and young people just starting out. To support residents, a team of Resident Services Coordinators connects people to services that promote health, stability, and independence.

In the Puget Sound region's real estate market, Bellwether aims to develop 1,200 new affordable homes in King County over the next five years. Based in Seattle, Washington, the organization collaborates with public institutions on housing projects, including a 2022 effort with the UW and Seattle Housing Authority to develop a 16-story mixed-income building near NE 42nd Street and Roosevelt Way NE, and a 2025 development in Bellevue on city-owned Wilburton property.
