Big Horn Outfitters is a professionally managed, family business that provides some of the best big game hunting experiences in the state of Wyoming. Our main lodge is located in Buffalo, WY, basically centered in the areas we hunt. Great pride is taken in meals we serve and the lodging we provide, all of which is included with every hunt. We offer trophy hunts for elk, Shiras moose, mule deer, white-tailed deer and pronghorn antelope.   In the spring, our Merriam turkey hunts are second-to-none. We also take great pride in the fact that more than 70 percent of our services are provided to return clients. Our camps and lodge are family friendly, as we truly enjoy having women and kids in camp.
At Big Horn Outfitters, we work extremely hard to manage our ground in an effort to maintain the quality and number of animals on these properties. This means we spend a great deal of time looking for mature animals, limit the number of bucks or bulls taken, and we harvest does as necessary. During the season, we apply minimal pressure to these animals to make sure the last hunt is just as successful and enjoyable as the first. A great deal of time is given to scouting and running trail cameras during the summer months and throughout the season to give you the very best opportunity of harvesting your animal.
We offer archery and rifle hunts for every species. All of our guides are experienced bow hunters and understand techniques and strategies necessary to be successful with archery equipment.
