Founded in 1945 as an army navy surplus store, Bill Jacksons has grown into one of the premier outfitters in the south and by far the best outfitter in Florida.  The store was featured in one of the national Visa television commercial in 1986 stating that if you come to Bill Jacksons, bring your Visa because they don't take Am Ex.  It was and still is the longest running Visa ad of that type in history.
