Headquartered in Rocky Mount, N.C., Boddie-Noell Enterprises Inc. (BNE) is a diversified, family-owned company with interests in a variety of restaurant and land-development projects.

In some ways BNE hasn’t changed since the day it started business back in 1962. As we approach our 50th anniversary, our values and commitment to family are just as strong and evident today as they were back then.

But in other ways, we have changed. Today we employ more than 12,500 people and are considered one of the nation’s largest privately held restaurant companies. A prominent restaurant trade publication* ranked us among the 70 largest restaurant companies in the U.S., quite an achievement considering our humble beginnings.

But the answer we give most often, when people ask us who we are, is this: We’re a family. We’re a group of people who enjoy working together. We love helping each other grow and seeing each other succeed. That’s BNE.
