BookSpring builds early literacy in children and families through healthcare, education, and the community. Our vision is a world of families reading and succeeding together.

BookSpring works through schools, libraries, childcare centers, and clinics to distribute books to low income children from birth through age 12. We also provide parent engagement and professional development programs for medical personnel and educators throughout the Austin community to encourage best practices in reading aloud activities between adults and children. ReBook, our gently used book program, collects gently used children's books from the public and partners with dozens of local organizations to get high quality, developmentally appropriate children's books into the hands of kids!
