British Steel is one of the leading steel manufacturers in Europe, producing around 3 million tonnes of quality steel products every year. From this, we manufacture more than 1,450 different specifications of steel that gets rolled into rail, sections, special profiles and wire rod.

We have manufacturing facilities across the UK and Europe, supplying premium products around the world. We also have a global network of regional sales teams, so our global customers receive local service. 

In March 2020, British Steel was bought by Jingye Group, a leading Chinese multi-industrial company specialising in iron and steel manufacturing.
