As a not-for-profit organization, we encourage California homeowners, mobilehome owners, condo unit owners and renters to reduce their risk of earthquake damage and loss. CEA’s team includes a collection of specialists in the fields of insurance, seismic retrofitting, and information technology, along with financial, legal, and marketing and communications experts. Our workforce is a unique mix of civil service employees, contract workers, and staff procured through private employment agencies. CEA team members are also award winners, with honors from American Red Cross and the Insurance Marketing and Communications Association, among others. And they serve on, or preside over, important boards such as American Academy of Actuaries and the Structural Engineers Association of California.
