With nature as our catalyst, Camp Fire Minnesota energizes youth to discover their spark so their futures glow brighter.  

Camp Fire Minnesota “lights the spark” in over 10,000 youth each year through nature-based experiences. Our programs include summer and school break camps, PreK-12 environmental education, and afterschool nature programs.  

We are proud to offer inclusive and welcoming programs to youth in the community. 48% of youth participate with financial assistance and as a result of their Camp Fire experience, 93% of youth report valuing nature and stewarding the environment.

Our properties in Excelsior and Grand Rapids, MN are available to rent for corporate retreats, weddings, and other special occasions. Your rental goes directly towards our mission. 

Camp Fire Minnesota has had a local presence since 1912. Nationally, Camp Fire serves nearly three-quarters of a million young people annually with community-based experiential learning programs that are socially responsible and environmentally focused. Founded in 1910, Camp Fire is one of America’s oldest national youth development organizations.

Camp Fire Minnesota is located on the lands of the Dakota and Ojibwe people.
