Other abstract projects include the setting of the Cedar Rapids Five Seasons Tree.

Cedar Valley Steel offers a combined package of fabrication and erection, which are specific to the needs of our clients. Some of those packages include the following components: structural steel erection, ornamental steel erection, precast erections, rebar installation and erections of insulated walls and metal buildings. Cedar Valley Steel provides services from design buildup generation, through fabrications stages, with final erections entailed.

Cedar Valley Steel has shown commitment to the industry since April 7, 1993. The company was founded in rural Iowa, with roots stretching deep into the soil. Cedar Valley Steel President Craig J. Breitbach and Warren W. Stoner started the company from the basement of Craig’s home. Both men tilled the earth of the Iowa Landscape by day, and then dealt with clients and bids by night. The two men began the company as subcontracting rebar binding specialists. As time progressed, Craig and Warren contracted the construction of a small theater in Decorah, IA. Then, while teamed with Ace Construction (based in Grimes, IA); Cedar Valley Steel erected a Wal-Mart Store in Decorah, Iowa.

Cedar Valley Steel has grown substantially and will continue to prosper in the future. We have expanded so much it was crucial to move into a newly remodeled office, shop, and ample storage yard for our cranes, job trailers, and supplies in the southwest side of Cedar Rapids.
