Established in 2002 as the Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company, we have been roasting and providing specialty-grade coffee to the communities around the Chesapeake Bay for the last 20 years. In celebration of this anniversary, and our continued commitment to the Chesapeake Bay, we proudly changed our name to Chesapeake Coffee Roasters. This change was important because it marks the realization that we are a company that loves not only the bay, but all that is around it, and all that we want it to be in the future. Our commitment to giveback 2% of our earnings to support clean water and environmental health extends throughout our supply chain, through the choices we make as a business and into our local communities.

Who we are is guided by our mission of Coffee, Community and Clean Water. We honor and support the communities we buy from and sell to. We understand how our business is linked to the need to respect the water sources we depend upon. We believe that a great cup of coffee has the ability to bring people together in appreciation of the world we share.
