COMPOS/IT/E : is the architectural practice/studio of Clayt Hudson, AIA founded in 2000 as a vehicle through which to explore architecture, art, design, materials and fabrication. /it/ is based on the concept that a project of any nature, size, or scope can and should be driven by a myriad of influence that ultimately makes up a refined, real solution leading to an enlightening experience. A composition is created – /it/ is the assemblage of love, passion, budget, locale, style, environment, culture, identity – and realized into a singular physical existence satisfying both architect and client through which we evolve. We compose it : COMPOS/IT/E.

Clayt is a licensed architect and brings his personal experience and background with architecture, design, photography, film, and music to the process. He has experience in materials, detailing and his own hands-on fabrication which translate directly to the built work. Clayt believes in context, technology, evolution, physics and the universe. These all influence how a project comes together and ultimately work toward producing innovative results for the architect, client and the public. A great deal of time is spent by Clayt educating the client and others about architecture and the process, and how to benefit by approaching from different perspectives aside to the immediate response. He works passionately with clients, contractors and the public to achieve high standards and to explore forward progress in thinking and implementation. The process of architecture and design with Clayt is about listening and understanding, absorbing, interpreting the thoughts, and integrating them into a tangible and realistic solution.

COMPOS/IT/E : is a full service architecture and design firm providing expertise, innovation and creativity in realizing residential and commercial projects. COMPOS/IT/E seeks like-minded unique and innovative individuals and companies with whom to share and pursue the process with.
