Establishment Cooperative Bank of Oromia (S.C.) was registered commercially in 2004 and began operations on March 8, 2005, with a paid-up share capital of 112 million birr. The bank was founded by visionary Haile Gebre Lube with the mission to expand financial access to underserved communities, particularly farmers, youth, and women.
