Copper State Rubber is a manufacturer of high quality oilfield, marine, and industrial hoses. The manufacturing plant is located in Phoenix, Arizona. The parent company, Specialties Company, was established in 1957 and is located in Houston, Texas. Sales, stocking, distribution, and hose assembly fabrication is conducted in this facility. Specialties Company acquired Copper State Rubber in 1980 and proceeded to increase production capacity with the addition of new spiral wire machines and by upgrading existing equipment. Copper State Rubber was the first U.S. manufacturer to introduce the 3" ID Super Choke and Kill hose that operates at 15,000 psi with a test pressure of 22,500 psi. With over 60 years of experience in manufacturing high pressure hoses, Copper State Rubber has the capability and flexibility to meet the ever increasing demands of the oilfield industry. Our client list includes just about every major drilling contractor throughout the world.
