Design To Live is a full service firm specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects. Our mission at is to provide professional creative solutions that respond to clients individualized needs by offering outstanding design, quality results, and enthusiasm for each project. DTL provides professional support through all phases of project development – from conception through completion. The companies founder Ryan James is the Principle Designer. 

Mr. James is noted for his diversity of styles ranging from traditional to ultra modern to outright whimsical. Recognized for his design build background and his thoughtful attention to detail, he creates residential and commercial spaces that are as unique as his clients are, while maintaining a continuity of program and function. His focus is on high-end residential interior renovations as well as conceptually driven restaurant and nightclub renovations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and South Hampton, NY.  Ryan studied interior design at Parsons The New School for design.
