Beginning as just an idea in January of 2009, the Founder of Digital Tour Bus, Joshua Weidling, started developing an idea he came up with while brainstorming at his part time job at Goodwill. Out of this brainstorming session came a simple idea to change the way people know and interact with their favorite bands and artists. The idea was to find a way to get these acts to agree to let him have a look at different aspects of their lives on the road!

What started as just a simple video series giving fans an exclusive look at the "home on the road" of their favorite touring acts, over seven years ago, has blossomed into a full fledged platform with multiple different web video series, news content, contests, blogs and more. The longest running DTB series, Bus Invaders, which takes fans inside of the buses of their favorite artists, has features over 1,000 amazing acts, including: Twenty One Pilots, G-Eazy, Fifth Harmony, A Day To Remember, Megadeth, Newsboys and Matchbox Twenty.

The two additional series that are held near and dear by DTB's viewers, Gear Masters and Cooking at 65mph, have also feature a pretty incredible lineup of acts, including: for KING & COUNTRY, Andy Grammer, Whitesnake, B.o.B and The Winery Dogs. To round out our content program, we also produce the following web video series: Crazy Tour Stories, Dream Tour, Preshow Rituals, The Life of Tour, Tour Pranks and Tour Tips (Top 5).
