Great fan experiences are commonplace in the world of sports, but unless you happen to work in a front office or you’re incredibly wealthy, the opportunity to get behind the scenes of a professional sports club are few and far between. 

Fan Owned Club (FOC) was on the forefront of using crowdfunding to give fans an insider experience, establishing relationships with Austria’s FC Pinzgau Saalfelden (2019) and Northern Ireland’s Carrick Rangers FC (2023).

Over six years working closely with FC Pinzgau Saalfelden’s (FCPS) management team, FOC helped transform the club from a little known relegation zone men’s team into a complete club with fans in 48 states and 22 countries. During that time, FCPS won multiple awards for marketing and design and has sent multiple alumni on to top leagues around the world, including MLS and USLW.

Today the FCPS men’s team is in consistent playoff contention, has Western Austria’s only federation sanctioned Youth Academy with a regional powerhouse women’s program playing in Bundesliga 2, featuring top regional and US college players. 

Fan Owned Club closed at the end of 2024.
