Industry partnerships Forth Valley College actively partners with industry players across sectors such as Oil and Gas, Civil Engineering, energy assessment, retrofit, and property accreditation. These partnerships indicate a strong pathway for enterprise training contracts, custom upskilling programs, and long-term workforce development initiatives for employers in heavy industry, construction, and energy sectors.

Skilled workforce training The college delivers training from access courses to degrees and professional qualifications, including SVQs and modern apprenticeships across all industries served. This breadth creates opportunities to onboard employers seeking scalable upskilling pipelines, tailored apprenticeship programs, and competency-based training aligned with evolving compliance standards.

Facility leverage With specialised industrial training facilities and a dedicated training centre covering administration, lab sciences, NEBOSH/IOSH, and oil and gas, Forth Valley can offer on-site or near-site blended programs, executive briefings, and facility-based demonstrations to prospective corporate clients seeking practical, hands-on upskilling for their workforce.

Recognition and awards Recent industry recognition, including a top prize at the Scottish Hospitality Awards and public-facing promotional efforts, signals strong brand credibility and community engagement. This can be leveraged in proposals to potential employers looking for trusted education partners with proven student and public outreach impact.

Strategic collaborations MoU signings and new training delivery partnerships (for example with Elmhurst Energy Systems and EWC) indicate a growing ecosystem of collaboration possibilities. This presents sales avenues for multi-party training programs, bundled qualifications, and cross-border or cross-sector workforce development initiatives.
