Founded in 1947, Germain Motor Company began with a single dealership opened by Warren Germain in Bexley, Ohio. Over the decades, the company grew under the leadership of Warren’s son, Bob Germain Sr., expanding across Columbus, Ohio, and into Florida markets including Naples and Sarasota.

In 1995, Steve Germain, grandson of the founder, was named President and CEO. Today, Germain Motor Company is a fourth-generation, family-owned automotive group operating 24 dealerships across eight markets in Ohio, Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky.
