Gilmartin Engineering Works was formed to promote and expand domestic suppliers in the energy and manufacturing industry. We have experience in multiple sectors and have a key focus on supporting the Department of Energy (DOE), commercial nuclear energy and the Department of Defense (DOD).  With over 58 years of combined experience in operations and construction in the energy industry, we have a strong personal network and extensive knowledge base.

Our recent work and achievements related to DOE and DOD regional efforts have further expanded our network development and key contacts within the DOE community. We have been the lead organization in the Tennessee Valley Nuclear Energy Coalition and the Oak Ridge Energy Corridor.  Both of these regional initiatives allow us to reach a broad audience and give us unmatched access to key DOE decision makers.

GEW is a Woman Owned Small Business (WSOB) based in Oak Ridge, TN, that specializes in commercial and Federal energy services support; environmental and planning consulting services; program and project management; and technical and administrative support services.  We are a small, fast growing company. A prerequisite for being part of the GEW staff is to be diverse and multi-dimensioned.    Our training, experience, and expertise span the spectrum of business, planning, environmental, engineering, and operations.
