From the start, the brand stood out as a pioneer. In 1791, it introduced the concept of a modern integrated manufacture, a first that inspired the industry. Its leaders shaped its prestige with a visionary spirit.

Key milestones followed: the Three Bridges Tourbillon (1867), the High Frequency movement (1965), the quartz frequency standard (1971), and the Constant Escapement (2013), winner of the Aiguille d'Or. These breakthroughs come from in-house teams passionate about innovation and tradition.

Design is just as central. The Tourbillon with Three Gold Bridges, awarded in 1889, was a technical and visual revolution.

Laureato, launched in 1975, emerged from bold, symmetrical design. 
Its octogonal bezel, inspired by the 14-faceted bezel of the 1969 Deep Diver, defines its identity.

Today, Girard-Perregaux stands as a symbol of luxury and timeless style.

Girard-Perregaux and its sister Maison Ulysse Nardin form an independent collective of high horology Manufactures, named Sowind Group SA.
