GlenWood Park Retirement Village, West Virginia’s only faith based continuing care retirement community, was established in 1968 by the West Virginia Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. You will find GlenWood Park Retirement Village nestled in the hills between Princeton and Bluefield – with a striking view of Glenwood Lake. Here you can choose between townhouses, apartments, suites and single rooms. You can choose Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing Care and Respite Care. Independent living is available to anyone 50 or older in apartments and townhouses located near the main building. One-floor units offer the opportunity to enjoy retirement living without the worry of cleaning and maintenance. Assisted living is provided in single apartments, studios and suites. Here you can receive help with activities of daily living while taking part in a variety of social and spiritual activities. Caregivers who need temporary accommodations for a loved one will find respite services offered in GlenWood’s assisted living for individuals 50 and older. The skilled nursing unit at GlenWood Park Retirement Village has built a strong reputation in our community for having skilled professionals giving around the clock loving care.
