We are a trading fund, an executive agency of the Cabinet Office and a key constituent of the Government Commercial Function.

We sit at the heart of government commercial capability and delivery. We are accountable to Ministers and governed by a Board with independent non-executive directors and representation from across the public sector. Andrew Forzani, Government Chief Commercial Officer (GCCO) has been appointed as non-executive Chair of the GCA Board and Cabinet Office Sponsor to the agency.

GCA connects the full breadth of the public and private sectors across the country. We offer a broad range of commercial agreements and services - all of which help buyers and suppliers work together efficiently and effectively. We use our unique position to lead and enable the UK public sector to achieve the government’s priority commercial, policy and economic outcomes.
