Hayner/Swanson Inc. (HSI) is an established full service civil engineering and land surveying firm noted for experience, integrity, and extremely high standards.

Our History
In 1972 Allan Swanson founded Allan H. Swanson, Inc. After twenty plus years of success in the surveying and civil engineering business, Allan transferred the company to Paul F. Hayner Jr., P.E. his longtime Principal Engineer. Paul formed Hayner/Swanson, Inc. (HSI) in 1995, and the firm continues to focus on providing top quality services to both private and public sector clients. In 2008, James N. Petropulos, P.E. and in 2010, John Vancor, P.E. joined Paul as partners in the firm. In 2014 Jim and John completed the acquisition of the firm and are now guiding Hayner/Swanson, Inc. into the future with a staff that includes professional engineers and surveyors registered in all six New England states.

Based in Nashua, New Hampshire, the company was founded in 1972 and became Hayner/Swanson, Inc. in 1995.  HSI's staff has, on average, been with the company longer than 15 years. 

HSI has completed thousands of projects throughout New England for many municipal, state, and private land development clients.  HSI is particularly proud that much of its work is repeat work for established clients.  This high level of repeat business underscores HSI's commitment to client satisfaction.
