Health Science Associates (HSA), a Certified Small Business, is an Industrial Hygiene and Environmental consulting and technical organization which is dedicated to providing specialized services in the occupational and environmental health and safety field. HSA industrial hygienists and safety professionals have a long record of success in finding and alleviating health and safety hazards in the workplace, residences, professional and commercial office buildings, hospitals and medical centers, etc. Founded in 1970 as a partnership, HSA has maintained industrial hygiene as the focal point of its operation, structuring its field services in a way to properly assist government, commercial and industrial management groups in evaluating hazards and recommending control measures. HSA was incorporated in 1978 in California. Currently, HSA has four offices serving the State of California and it’s neighbors. Our consulting practices provide a wide range services to our clientele. These services include, but are not limited to, traditional industrial hygiene, indoor air quality (IAQ), environmental, LEED and microbiological evaluations and investigations, asbestos and lead-based paint (LBP) consulting services. Our consulting services also include specification preparation and monitoring and administration of the specification for a multitude of large and small projects, including asbestos abatement, LBP, mercury contamination, bird feces, and microbiological projects. We audit employer health and safety programs and write Operations and Maintenance (O & M) programs, respiratory protection programs, illness and injury prevention programs, et. al. HSA has several seasoned Expert Witnesses on staff.
